March 1, 2000-For the second year in a row, Elektrim, one of the largest publicly traded companies on the Warsaw stock exchange with 1998 revenues of US$866 million, has retained the services of SMI to prepare its Annual Report.

Elektrim, previously a large trading conglomerate, initiated a restructuring process under the leadership of Barbara Lundberg to position it to become a flagship Polish company with a strong focus on telecommunications and infrastructure.

"We are especially pleased to once again contribute to Elektrim's communications efforts," says Chris Gadomski of SMI. "The restructuring of the company has been a tremendously complex process and we are honored to have been selected to assist Elektrim communicate these important changes to the financial world and their shareholders."
