Hartsdale, NY, December 1, 2005--The Weissman Center for International Business at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, CUNY, has awarded a Mitsui Practitioner in Academia grant to Chris Gadomski to support syllabus development for MKT 9764, Internet Marketing and Global Business.
The objective of the grant, generosity of the Mitsui Foundation, is to update the course to enhance student skills. Mr. Gadomski is developing a new course syllabus, identifying new textbooks, articles, cases and on-line sources, and designing new, more meaningful exercises, research assignments and tests for the students.
Since the fall 2004 semester, Gadomski has taught International Marketing to both graduate and undergraduate students at Zicklin, the largest business school in the U.S. featuring a new, highly selective full-time MBA program. Research interests include international competitiveness of U.S. firms in today's global marketplace. Gadomski also teaches Intro to Energy Policy and The Economics and Finance of Energy at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies Masters of Science program in Global Affairs. His research there is examining threats to U.S. competitiveness as a result of a mismanaged and shortsighted national energy policy.
Chris Gadomski, president of Strategic Marketing Inc., a business development and marketing communications consultancy, has worked with energy, IT and financial services clients for the past 23 years. Major accounts include(d) IBM, United States Energy Association, United Nations Development Program, SEED Act Enterprise Funds and Coastal Energy.
Recently published work on energy policy and financing of energy projects have appeared in Modern Power Systems, and in Renewable Finance, a supplement to EuroMoney Institutional Investor's Project Finance magazine. See www.SMIdirect.net.
