March 17, 2000-Prentice Hall has retained the services of SMI to initially develop three web sites for the General Business list of Prentice Hall Business Publishing. The web sites, according to Michelle Faranda, Media Project Manager at Prentice Hall, will be used for on-line marketing by illustrating how a new edition of a book has been updated. "We selected SMI," says Faranda, "because we wanted a vendor that understood our business requirements, was creative, and that could deliver the sites competitively and quickly."

The three sites, which will mirror existing print media, and which will link to existing Prentice Hall sites, will be published by the end of May.
