UNDP/GEF Retains SMI For GEF Assembly Prep

February 10, 1998--The Unied Nations Development Program/Global Environment Facility (UNDP/GEF) has retained Strategic Marketing Inc. (SMI) to develop corporate outreach material for the New Delhi GEF General Assembly for distribution to global institutions, the press and the general population. Deliverables for this events, press releases, media kits, and project summaries had to be conceptualized, written, produced and printed on very tight schedules and on a competitive budget.

"In SMI we have found a cost-effective vendor that understood the operation of UNDP, understood international environmental issues and was able to draft and produce and deliver a large amount of material on a very tight schedule," said Emma Torres, Executive Coordinator, UNDP/GEF New York. "SMI's knowledge of the environmental issues and the operation of UNDP was key to our award of the contract."
